Amazing case study- UAE‘s story of desalinization, cloud seeding and rainwater harvesting by which they convert billions of litres of ocean water into drinking water. A country where 90% of groundwater is salty now manages its water supply from ocean water. This is what a vision can do, make way for impossible.
My favourite part
of this week were insights about Vision.
- -
Vision
can be beyond the current scope of your imagination and sometimes do not even
make sense.
- -
I explored
the scope of a vision board
- -
Vision
is also a matter of intent.
- -
Vision
is personal and all visions are equally relevant.
- -
Vision
is all about asking the right questions.
- -
Vision
is all about understanding oneself
- -
Combined
visions help especially when more people are involved.
- -
For strengthening
your conviction, a vision must be clearly stated and repeated.
- -
Vision
can be restricted or restrictive based on age or gender. Be careful not to let
your past affect your future.
I also had a beautiful discussion with Dipti Kariwala and some of the takeaways from those were
- -
One
learns through a lifetime of experience in forming a Vision.
- -
One’s
own experience act as a better anchor to form a path into future
- -
There
is a huge possibility for someone to go through ups and downs even in pursuit
of a vision that they want, the idea is to know that they have to come out it.
- -
Where
you see yourself and how you see yourself is what vision is all about.
In the group, we
discussed success as hope and
achievement and power of visualization. Despite the grandeur related to the word, vision is an intrinsic part of our lives. It
makes us feel valuable and contributing individuals. Vision gives us Focus,
focus to strive for something better, focus to introspect, focus to learn and
focus to head in a direction where we want to go.
Let us wait for
next week’s edition. Focus and see how vision and focus together work to make
ourselves content.

Focused vision....Another thing in my "I wish" list
